If you own or maintain a commercial solar panel array, you will no doubt be interested in reaping the largest financial reward from your array and seeing your ROI (Return on Investment) as soon as possible.  Solar panel cleaning will help you to do just that. Having dirty solar panels can severely dent your ROI time.  By having clean solar panels, more light hits the solar cells meaning more generation which in turn means more money, sooner.

Things affect the output of solar panel are:

Bird droppings
Dust
Leaves

Bird droppings on your Solar panels are the worst enemy that affects the performance of your panel. Do your solar panels have a string inverter or micro-inverters? This is important because systems with micro-inverters, with an inverter attached to each separate panel, can show where one panel has been covered with droppings because that inverter will stop showing current flow.
Flat solar panels will need more cleaning as water can pool up and leave a muddy residue when it evaporates. Angled panels take advantage of rain running across them to keep them clean.

How the output energy is affected?

A dirty panel will reduce the energy production from 5-10% of total capacity which is a massive difference considering the number of dirty panels you have in your place.

How frequently the panels need to be cleaned?

As an effective practice, we recommend cleaning your panels every 6 months under normal conditions.

TDS meter. For checking the total dissolved solids reading of the input and output water. After running through the DI it’ll be 0, resulting in no spotting on the panels

Inline Pressure Gauge. The sturdy metal gauge that will measure water pressure up to 150psi

100m x 12mm (id) Hose on Lift & Carry Reel. Extra-long hose to connect to your pole hose to access all difficult areas

Hose leader. To connect DI system to the hose reel

12m Pole Hose. Runs through the middle of your pole to ensure no snagging.

Pole Hose Valve to Push-fit Connector. Control the flow of water at the base of your pole without having to go back to your water source or DI system. Heavy duty!

Connector protector. Protects pole hose valve when dragging on the ground

Wiel-Loc Swivel Adapter Arm. Secondary arm with smooth pivoting, self-centralising action, enabling you to swivel your brush head to keep the pressure on the glass evenly, even when standing off-centre from the solar panel glass.
